The cadastral survey programmes carried out to date

The cadastral survey programmes that were carried out from 1995 to 2000 concern 340 regions all over the country. 96 Cadastral Offices have already begun operations in these regions.

What should you do if you have a property in one of these 340 regions?

  • Provided you have submitted a declaration to the Cadastre, in the near future you will receive an Initial Cadastral Registration Certificate by post at the contact address you declared, so that you can check the completeness and correctness of the Initial Registrations. You can also check the content of Initial Registrations via the application "Τελικά Στοιχεία Κτηματογράφησης - Αρχικές Εγγραφές" at the NCMA S.A. website.
  • If you have not submitted a real property declaration about your property, then you must follow the correction procedure regarding your property’s registration. It is most likely that your property has been recorded as belonging to an “Unknown Owner”.

  • The deadline for correcting the initial registrations is fourteen (14) years beginning from the date when the Cadastral Office began operating in each region.
